Friends are simply priceless. At times where social life is concerned, one may even place friends on top of family. This is because there may be a part of you that you show to your friends and not to your family, or certain experiences that you can relate only to your friends, or simply if you're bored.
The thick and thin one goes through with friends creates a wide base for more feelings, more effort, and sometimes even more conflict to build on. This toughens the relationship between two close friends. However, in the process of creating this strong bond, two friends have to go through many adventures together which eventually leads to knowing one another well.
I believe good friends are those who connect and relate to you, and of course vice versa. Such a relationship builds trust within friends and so creates this comfortable and reliable atmosphere whenever you are around such a friend.
Good friends also provide a safe haven to run to when one feels sad or empty. After a trauma, one is likely to turn to friends first. This is because the trust built between friends is probably more than that of between parent and child in the early years.one can can tell one's problem to a friend, relate, listen and believe a friend's solution or words of comfort. Such a feeling of trusting a friend's view and his character to keep a secret is indescribable, something even the world's richests can't buy.
As such, friends are not valuable, because valuable is not even close to describing friendship. The force that binds two friends together is very strong, such that even time, that wears out everything , does not wear out such friendship but in fact encourages its growth.
